For over 125 years, the old tabernacle at White River has reverberated with the sounds and songs of Zion. The years have rolled by and music styles have changed, but the message and the spirit with which they are sung are still fill the place with the jubilant voices of the redeemed. Our worship leader, Pastor Bryan Gantt, always puts together a vibrant worship atmosphere, aided by skilled musicians who offer their gifts to the Lord as a sacrifice of praise. You’re heart will be drawn in to the dynamic worship at White River.
We begin each season of camp meeting with a gospel concert on the first night of camp. It may be exciting presentation from music ministries who visit us just for the night, or the anointed ministry of some of our own “home grown” folks like Grateful Heart, three sisters who grew up at White River or the Agape Quartet who are a regular part of camping family. You will always be blessed by great music at Ole’ White River.
Bible Teaching from the Word
Each weekday morning of campmeeting is given to the study of God’s Word. Whether in the Tabernacle with our Camp President Michael Gantt, or a special guests teaching practical, Word based teaching, to the Young People’s Institute who meet under the tent with Robyn Stires teaching the Word, or at the other end of the camp where the children are being taught the Word of God in their exciting and fun-filled program – White River Camp is about the faithful teaching of the Word of God.
Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom for 130 years!
Each evening, everyone in the camp gathers in the Tabernacle (or in a tent around it) for the preaching of the Word of God. The staff at White River prayerfully select preachers who are going to be faithful to the Word, and who preach under the power and anointing of the Spirit of God. Over the years some of the most powerful preachers in the northeast and other areas have filled the pulpit and proclaimed the unchanging Word of God without apology and without compromise.
