“I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 3:14

Starting With Praise

August 1 – 7:00 p.m.

The 2020 Encampment will begin with an evening of praise. We will gather in the old Tabernacle and enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts and enter His courts with praise.  Our Vice-President, Pastor Bryan Gantt will lead us to the throne with worship and praise.

mkgOur Preacher for the Week - Pastor Michael Gantt

Due to circumstances beyond his control our scheduled preacher for the week, Jason Cooper cannot attend camp this year.  Our past President, Michael Gantt has agreed to step in and fill the spot. This late in the season, it is almost impossible to secure a capable speaker. Pastor Michael is certainly a “known quantity” for the White River family, having led the association for more than 30 years and serving not only as president but evangelist, Bible teacher, worship leader, and Youth leader over the years of his association with White River.  Pastor Michael is the author of seven books and will be speaking on the topic of his newest book, Over and Above – Pursuing a Life of Excellence - set to be released in July.

Missy Townsend is a gifted worship leader and has been leading worship for church, Women’s retreats, district conferences, and worship events in her area for the past 15 years. She is the mother of three grown children and the grandmother of one “perfect” grandson, Theo, which she spends as much time with as she can.  Her first love is Jesus Christ and she is passionate about seeing people live in the fullness of intimacy with Him and allow their expression of worship to provide an atmosphere where Heaven pours out, the Holy Spirit transforms lives, and God’s goodness shows up in the most creative ways.
